The Center for Maintenance and Repairs of Wagons “CIRV” provides services of maintenance, repairs and modernization of freight cars, as follows

·      Repairs and overhauling of freight wagons and other means of transportation

·      Modernization of freight wagons and other means of transportation

·      Periodical overhauling for freight wagons of different types

·      Building, reconditioning and repairs for spare parts and equipment of freight wagons 

·      Examination and measurements for rolling stock.

“CIRV” has 10 territorial units and 3 units for freight wagon transposition in Constanţa, Barboşi with transposition station Brateş, Ghighiu, Suceava with transposition stations Vicşani-Dorneşti şi Cristeşti-Jijia, Satu Mare, Oradea, Roşiori de Vede, Petroşani, Sibiu şi Curtici.

 

“CFR IRLU” S.A. - The Company for Repairs and Maintenance of Locomotives and Equipment is a branch of “CFR Marfă” and the no. 1 supplier in Romania for current maintenance services for electric, diesel-electric and diesel-hydraulic locomotives.

 

“CFR IRLU” offers the following services:

 

·         Preventive maintenance (RT...R3)

 

·         Corrective maintenance for spare parts, equipments and installations, technical tests, repairs further to accidents

 

·         Overhauls with or without modernization

 

·         Building of locomotives spare parts and components

 

·         Physical and chemical tests for oil and fuels

 

·         Preventive and corrective maintenance on client site.

 

“CFR IRLU” offers services for the entire locomotive fleet of CFR Marfă and partly for the locomotives owned by the rail operators of the Romanian and Hungarian market.

The main units of « CFR IRLU » are located in Bucharest, Craiova, Paşcani, Buzău, Brăila, Constanţa, Simeria, Adjud, Dej, Oradea and Târgu Mureş.
